We spent a fabulous week here. The house is perfect, with space for all the family and the cherry on the cake is the rooftop jacuzzi. The views are AMAZING!! You are in the village so can walk to everything, shops, bank, bars, restaurants etc. Comares is just gorgeous. A typical Spanish village with really friendly people and some great local fiestas! We will definitely return. Thanks for everything Comares Holiday Properties hope to see you all again soon.

We spent a week at Casa Jose as a family, the property had everything we needed. We spent lots of time on the beautiful roof terrace and used the hot tub. Comares is a lovely village and Casa Jose is in a great spot, only a short walk to the shop, bars and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and helpful , would highly recommend staying at Casa Jose!

We stayed at the property and had a wonderful time. The location was stunning.

The house catered to all of our needs and the scenery was incredible.
We enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace / relaxing in the hot tub. The views from the roof terrace are stunning! We made memories we will never forget.

Booking the apartment was simple and straightforward. Thanks to the hosts for making our stay one to remember.

Would definitely recommend this stay.

Avoid. I normally do not find time to review places but I feel I have some responsibility to fellow travellers, certainly the ones with children. We were kept waiting outside to get the keys for an hour to check in, with three small children, despite arranging check in time in advance, no apology nor friendly warm welcome neither. Straight in to take the money off us first without showing us the house first etc. Clean bedding and hot water is an absolute basic must in any rental accommodation where you pay money to stay. But Casa Jose in Comares has old lumpy pillows full of dust mites and dead skin cells, causing some pretty strong allergies during the night. Bathroom and a couple of bedrooms have damp and black mould spots now clearly visible. Hot tub not working upon arrival, followed by boiler that packed it as well the next day. Kitchen extremely poorly equipped, lacking most basic essentials. Worth pointing out that the house is located less than 3 meters from village waste disposal bins, loads of flies inside, no nets and rather strong acidic smell in the air from the waste in the heat.
The agent dealt with the whole situation abysmally, blaming us that we were ‘looking for things’ and that they lost the booking as they took ours instead, we were supposed to stay for a month, but as there was no intention of the agent to rectify the matters; we checked out after a couple of nights with agent keeping 20% of the total we paid, they deemed that acceptable, our own fault for listening to them moving us away from Airbnb to booking direct by bank transfer and cash on arrival etc. Avoid avoid avoid.h
